Goznak Federal State Unitary Enterprise (Goznak FSUE) state registration took place on July 12, 2006. So the last stage of the work that lasted for a year on restructuring the Association of State Enterprises and Organizations for Manufacturing State Notes of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation into Goznak Federal State Unitary Enterprise has come to an end.
Goznak has been restructured to execute the Presidential Decree No 985 of August 26, 2005 “On Goznak Federal State Unitary Enterprise” and the Government of the Russian Federation resolution No 844 of December 30, 2005 “On Goznak Federal State Unitary Enterprise”. From now on all the eight Enterprises incorporated into Association Goznak (two Paper Mills, three Printing Plants, two Mints and the Research Institute) have become the affiliates of Goznak Federal State Unitary Enterprise working as a Unitary Enterprise. The priority area of Goznak activity was and remains manufacturing banknotes, circular and commemorative coins, state decorations of the Russian Federation, blank documents proving the identity of the citizens of the Russian Federation, state securities, excise banderoles, special labels and postage stamps, special types of security paper and blank documents of strict accounting and recording with the form approved by President of Russia, the Government of the Russian Federation and the federal authorities. The General Director of Association Goznak Arkady V. Trachuk was appointed Goznak Federal State Unitary Enterprise General Director. The Company has been restructured to raise efficiency of Goznak activity and to adjust its organizational and legal basis in accordance with the requirements of the Russian current legislation. Goznak Federal State Unitary Enterprise is continuing the production and shipment of its products to all the customers in non-stop mode.
